Kilmardinny Loch

I picked my sister and brother in law up from the airport this morning. I am popping on the only photo I have taken today and doing it early as I may otherwise forget! We had a walk round to the Loch, the first time I have been there since I found out that one of the pair of swans had died. The remaining swan looks to be fine so hopefully it has avoided avian flu and will find a new mate next year. Their nest was in amongst the irises and is now completely hidden.
