Looking up...

...as the Marine Travel Lift hoists up a yatch out of the water at the boatyard today. The machinery is huge but graceful at the same time and the machinists are so skilled that there is just a slight swaying as the vessel is reeled up out of the water and into the air.

Some blippers came really close to guessing my mystery macro from yesterday but nobody quite got it! It is the little tuft at the end of a pomegranate fruit. The stamens are very tiny, like dancing pin heads and the only part of the flower that remains when the fruit itself has formed.
