My Long Term Memory

By marinakari

At Swamp Lake

There is hidden treasure bottom of lake, I'm sure. It's like mirror.
Couple of Swans are nesting, forest birds whistling and cuckoo is counting my years left in life.
Thousand mosquito biting on my neck and top of my head.
I stand in moss up to my knees, sneakers and legs soaking wet.
Marsh Labrador tea is blooming.

Sun is going to sleep.

If you click for large, you can see the white spots in opposite shore are swans. One at left is at nest and one at right is eating.
