The fingers of a doctoral candidate

I was attending the party after a succesful public doctoral defence.  The candidate knew my habits of taking photos, and she asked me to move camera when I took a photo of her and her husband.  I did what she asked and only the fingers are clearly seen. A photo of the defence can be seen here.
