My favourite rendition of this is by HAL, the onboard computer in 2001: a space odyssey. HAL is being disconnected by Dave Bowman after the 9000 Series computer has murdered his fellow astronauts. By the end of the chorus, the depleted computer grinds to a slurry halt.
