Fiddleheads

the other day Blipper Kd Posted her fern-heads and her picture reminded me of my first takes of such unfolding fern-heads way back in the 70-ies when at Mallaig, Scotland. Now I only needed to go to the Clingendael Park in Den Haag to find these new stems with little heads about to unfold ~ I reckon myself lucky as the cold temps delayed their opening up this year and I'm pleased I got a few pix from them again after those many years.
