To Kinlochleven

During the night l phoned reception to book a taxi.  The bed was massive; l wanted to go round the other side to visit CMC.

A veritably superb breakfast at Kingshouse Hotel.  PB I think.

Then onwards to the Devil's Staircase and across the hills to Kinlochleven.  There is a new interpretive sign for the Staircase.  Interesting to note it was Elgar8 who cut the ribbon.

On arrival, mid-afternoon, the village was exceedingly sleepy.  Our landlord wasn't.  KLL has the sad air of an ex smelter town.  I haven't seen a Pelton turbine since Nostie Bridge power station.
