Wing Tanks

We arrived in Berwick on Tweed on Wednesday, making our way to the start of St Cuthbert’s Way, along distance path from Melrose, Scotland to Lindisfarne. We stayed overnight at a lovely B&B but I have never stayed anywhere that has two wing tanks from an RAF Tornado aircraft sat in a corner of the garden. The Tornado force was disbanded in 2019  so I guess they were going cheap. I did not get the opportunity to ask the owner why though. Onward to Melrose for the start of our walk on Friday.
