Jardin Eugénie Djendi

Beautiful férié today in Paris, and we're really happy that our friend F arrived from Canada! She got to the apartment around mid-day. We had a little lunch at Le Mirabeau and then walked around the parc André Citroen and the jardin Eugénie-Djendi, where the rhodos just keep flowering and looking gorgeous. There were tons of people out enjoying the park and the good weather. John got a good deal on bunches of fresh basil again this morning at Monop, so we had pesto for dinner, made in our hand-grinder... we're keeping up the Italian traditions a little longer!
