Dinner in London

at Dirtyburger, a restaurant that has the North American feel of burgers from the '50s dialed in. Inexpensive -- 5 pounds for a cheeseburger...but in London that seems relatively inexpensive -- and limited choice, cooked right there on the grill. It was jammed with people and at least half of them North American accents. And they had onion rings -- like A&W onion rings. Amazing. Though they were called onion "chips" and that meant it wasn't a problem if they were fragments rather than perfect circles. If we call it something else is it really different?
