Bridge Day

Because we had a German version of a Bank Holiday yesterday, 90% of my colleagues took today off as a "Brückentag" or bridge day - long weekends for everyone except me.  

I wasn't completely useless - I had quite a few phone calls and solved all the problems.  It really is a role I am well suited for.

I've been fretting though - I've got to log on to work at 2:30 in the morning to test various technical things with people who have no idea how these things work (we call these "managers") because who doesn't love testing in the middle of the night?

We'll gloss over the every 30 minute status meetings because I'm trying to be polite.
