Nature Diary...The first two poppies this year.

It was a beautiful sight early this morning, even though it was not sunny, to see that the two promising oriental poppy buds blipped yesterday had opened almost overnight. 
There are quite a few more slower to develop poppy buds waiting to reveal their own beauty within the next week or two,
Always a joy to see.
