Big City

Swapped beach for city today-London to meet my oldest friend (a friendship spanning 5 decades!). We chatted, drank coffee, prosecco and tea, enjoyed lunch and squeezed in a mooch around the National Gallery and Covent Garden. Met up with R for a drink in the buzzy area around Liverpool Street Station and  a Greek meal in Spitalfields. Blip - I love the juxtaposition of old and new in London.
