Shakespeare Inspired Columbine

"I am that flower... that columbine." Loves Labour's Lost

A few years ago I was visiting Stratford, Shakespeare country. In the gift shop at Anne Hathaway's Cottage I bought a flower seed collection: Shakespeare's Flowers. I planted them and promptly forgot about them. A few days ago in amongst an astounding amount of weeds (due to long term ill health, the death of my husband's mother and Dixie's health my garden has reverted back to a jungle) I spotted these dainty columbines growing. I could almost hear Will whispering in my ear.
