Birds of Iona

This morning we drove from our accommodation in Tobermory to Fionnphort to get the 10.30am ferry to Iona. It’s a quick crossing of around 5 minutes. Had lovely coffee and blueberry scones in the Rookery Cafe before a guided tour of Iona Abbey with Historic Environment Scotland guide, John. There were only the four of us and although we have been several times before it was still a really interesting tour. Then we walked down to the beach to collect some shells and little pieces of green Iona marble before heading back to the Rookery Cafe for a lovely late lunch.
3.30pm ferry back to Fionnphort, long drive back to Tobermory and now getting ready for dinner at Cafe Fish, a full on day!

The extras I think are: a Meadow Pipit, Ring Plovers and the third one I have no idea and neither has google lens. It has a reddish face and red feathers at its rump, any suggestions would be greatfully received!
