New Life on the Pond

Rouken Glen pond has plenty of youngsters ….. I spotted five ducklings, three Canada goslings and then this family of eight cygnets.

Mum decided to settle in the middle of the path where she was joined by her youngsters. Many of the dog walkers had to change the direction of their walk to avoid any unpleasant confrontation. Once Mrs S was settled there was no moving her and her mate just went off for a paddle.
