Blues and orange

My favourite part of the garden today is this combination of tangerine geum, brunnera and sky blue forget-me-nots. Not only are the colours gorgeous together, they bob about in the breeze as if they’re gently dancing. They’ll be getting the Chelsea chop in a week or two in the hope of a second burst in the summer.

I’m sorry to hear that both Martin Amis and Pete Brown have died.
