Pleach

By Pleach

Common Fiddleneck (Amsinckia micrantha) so called because it sometimes has the flowers on the upper side of coiled spikes.  The tiny yellow flowers are less than half a centimetre with the leaves covered in pimples and long hairs. It is not common and is found mainly in parts of eastern Scotland and England on dry or sandy soil
