Ganges At Haridwar

A once in a lifetime moment sitting at the Ganges in Haridwar during evening Aarti - the actual place is called Har Ki Pauri and is a holy hindu place where pilgrims visit.

The amount of people is overwealming on a normal day so I can only imagine what is must be like on a major hindu event but nice to have shown my parents it once in their life.

It is at the foot of the Himilayas and the area is worth a visit at least once in your life.
