Golden Poplar Sapling

This morning my family and I walked down the hill to have brunch together, to celebrate a belated Mother's Day.  Eggs Benedict was the most popular choice.  I walked home along the lake, this sapling was calling out to be photographed!!!  That is Mt Iron in the background.  It has been cloudy for most of the day, but just now I looked out the window, and hey presto sun.  So that is my extra photo today. 

Tomorrow Plan A for the walkers is to drive to John Creek and walk from there along the dliff face towards Hawea township.  The forecast is for rain!!!
