Mr Bullfinch is back

Standing gazing out of the kitchen window I spotted Mr Bullfinch in competition with the Goldfinches for a place on one of the bird feeder perches. I had to take the photo through the window because even if I opened the back door as quietly as possible the birds would have been off.

We had some rain during the night .... appreciated by the flowers, shrubs and unfortunately the weeds which seem to appear from nowhere.
