Crochet swatches (test pieces)

I am full of hayfever today, despite antihistamines. I took a covid test just in case but it was fine.

So all I managed to do was clean the cat litter trays, put a duvet cover on for Evie who is arriving tomorrow, and wash some salad for dinner. 

Well, I did have a shower and wash my hair but it has to be a very bad day for me not to do that.

I've also been playing with string - trying out various stitch patterns with my new yarn. It needs to be easy enough that I can keep it even, but interesting enough to keep me going. I'm not sure I've found my final one yet, but we'll have to see.
