Borrowed flower

On a grey day when I was a bit short of both blips and blip inspiration, the little garden at the bottom of the Water of Leith path at the Sandport Bridge came to the rescue.

This afternoon was a bit of a wash out. We were supposed to be going to a house concert in Portobello, but every road out of Leith was gridlocked so eventually we gave up, turned round and queued back to the house. We spent nearly an hour in the car and did about 5 miles.... That was really annoying.

The other bit of socialising was easier to manage. We walked down to the Vaults to meet meles, enjoy supper and some beers, and procure some lovely beverages (which we'd currently run out of....).

Other than that, I did a bit of mark moderation and then read my book (about the Vikings) in lieu of being at a concert. Pah.
