Scary shadows!

This poor Shield bug (I think it's a Birch shield bug looking at the markings) had fallen on its back on the patio and was happy to be rescued. It sat on my finger for a while and we gave each other a good look over before I released it onto my nearby Hosta (after it promised not to cause any damage). I noticed its shadow and thought this was rather a fun shot.
