I was not sure of the name of this but with a suggestion from Blipper Miffy that it was some kind of plantain l was able to research more and l now know it is a  Ribwort plantain also known as English plantain, Buckhorn or lambs tongue.  Whatever, the seedhead is very pretty and everywhere at the moment.
