Welcome Home Lilacs

As soon as I got out of the car, the scent of lilacs assailed me.  My house is surrounded by huge, old bushes of these beautiful French lilacs.  I just love the smell and quickly picked bunches to bring into the house.  Auntie's Tree's blossoms are gone thanks to the torrential rains here on Saturday. Louisa May was very happy to see me and I her.  Busy day ahead.  John will be here in a day or so to deadhead the daffodils...life goes on.
