Top Trumps

I busied myself at home for most of the day and waited in this afternoon for the bathroom fitter. He eventually arrived at 4:45 pm and spent a couple of hours fitting a new Mira shower unit in the en-suite and he also installed the new washing machine which arrived yesterday.

This evening I dug out and concreted-in the base for the rotary dryer.  

Harriet sent me a photo of her favourite cuddly bear "Divine" who features (along with dozens of her other soft toys) in a set of personalised "Top Trump" cards. They were given to her as a present on her birthday yesterday.

Divine has travelled all over Europe with Harriet. She has been stranded on her own at a hotel in Wengen in the Swiss Alps during severe floods and, in Dublin, was accidentally scooped up with the bed sheets by a chambermaid and had to be rescued from the hotel laundry.
