Wrong day!

Funny how time RUSHES by.  It's not that I was unaware of it, I'd just never opened, or considered it.  The label was, of course, t'other way around all this time.

That said, I have never been one of the mighty band who consider food goes off at the stroke of midnight, and must be thrown out the following morning.

In year long gone, I've seen Penicillium scraped of the top and the Jam used.  In this case there were no growths of any variety visible on the top.
AND
I've been using it for a week or several now and - to paraphrase poor old Pratchett - "Brian was born in 1942 and is not dead yet." and so will now continue until empty.
