Tree of hope

In the Sanctuary at the Royal Infirmary. I’m last on the list for my hip operation today, so I’m on a wander round the hospital. I often visit the Sanctuary when I’m at the hospital, it’s a lovely light space and there’s usually no one else here, or just one or two people at the most.

It’s a long wait after an early start, but it does seem as though the op is going ahead, for which I’m mightily thankful.
