Fly Orchid

Absolutely delighted to get just one photo in focus out of very many. Obvious operational error with the camera but some mechanical good luck. The phone was no good either. Anyway, despite the tenuous connection to the Tiny Tuesday mechanical theme today, I'm so excited to get this one photo, I'm submitting it. I also managed some delightful tiny bugs- extra.
This week's Tuesday "run" was slow enough for the slowest today because we had expert orchid spotter Simon with us.  Masses of "late" early purple but too early for the bee orchids. Twayblade orchids were just coming out. We spent a lot of time on our hands and knees
