Shabby and Sleek

I loved the contrast between these two sat on our fence in the rain this morning. The one on the left looked so unlikely to fly, but when I disturbed the curtains they both took off.

Goes to prove it isn't always what you look like that counts - its what you are on the inside, and the scruffy one was still definitely a pigeon.

As it says in the bible ...
"People judge others by what they look like, but I judge people by what is in their hearts." (1 Samuel 16V17 Contemporary English Version) ... where of course the 'I' is God.
