St Nicolas

...by Benjamin Britten. Soloist tenor Christopher Turner was the most enjoyable tenor singing I can remember - being sung in English within St Nicolas which I really liked on this first listening would've helped.

A choirboy aged around 9 years old say a repeated word from the pulpit during another section of the piece.

I was interval drink service, so a free ticket too!

The first half of the program was also really to my taste too (apart from this Elgar piece)

Pärt Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten
Richter On the Nature of Daylight
Elgar Serenade for Strings
Vaughan Williams Fantasia on the 'Old 104th'
