My beloved Oslo - between rain showers

We had a discussion at the office today:
all the different words we have in Norwegian for "rain".  We have a lot of different dialects and today I heard words for different kind of rain I never heard before and would never understand without an explanation.

We concluded that of course those areas in Norway that have the wettest and hard weather have most words.  Not so many words in the dialect we speak in Oslo:  "just" 13 words if we remember them all.
