New Chief Exec has been in position for five days now. So today was the day to ask her if I could overspend my annual leave by two days. She said yes. Hurray!

So I'll be taking a fairly brief trip to San Francisco to visit Cyclops in.... two weeks!

I was originally going to go for 4th July weekend (sounds like a good time to visit USA) but my diary is easier to rearrange in two weeks, weirdly.

Woo! It is booked. I'll get about five days there.

I finally watched High School Musical the other night. Seems to have got me in the mood for teen films, so I'm going to watch Twilight now.
