Homeward Bound

We had an early bite to eat last night in the pub attached to the hotel.  It's only a 'Brewers Fayre' so we weren't expecting anything special but the service was so spectacularly bad it was amusing.  If they can be that disorganised at 6pm I dread to think what they would be like when they were busy later in the evening.  On to our concert at The Stables which was great; a favourite folk/blues singer, Eric Bibb, who we have seen many times before and he and his band put on a good show.  Front row seats helped!  After a good night's sleep and breakfast we had a walk around Willen Lake before heading home.  It was always a favourite walk of ours before we moved away and we enjoyed it today too.  Lots of birds picked up on the Merlin App, and a cuckoo singing his heart out on the island in the centre of the north lake.

Now home, and feeling exhausted!
