Challenge Accepted

A working day with a difference for me (Chris). I joined 39 other colleagues meeting in central Edinburgh from across our business. Together we are a 40 strong team who will be trekking over 50km to visit 24 peaks of the Lake District this September, across two 12 hour days. We’re doing this to raise funds and awareness to support the charity Crisis and their drive to end homelessness.

We spent the day learning more about homelessness in the UK, the fact that rough sleeping is just one small part of a much wider issue. How homelessness is disproportionately an issue for single people (and single males) in the UK for a number of reasons. We also got to know more about our challenge and about each other as a team, it won’t be an easy challenge but neither is solving this issue.
