Day 2, Herne Bay to Whitstable, Sinking Potential

We caught the train to Herne Bay where we filled our photographic boots around the quaint old skool pier, watched a bit of filming for a new TV show and then wandered down the coast to Whitstable which couldn't have been more different.

The weather was glorious but bizarrely after we stopped for some much needed food we entered some sort of cafe portal as when we emerged the weather was cold and grey. Whitstable felt like it should have been on the South coast somewhere around Emsworth or "the Witterings" with its laid back feel and shingle beach.

A nice bar called the 12 taps before we caught the train back to Margate about 10.30
