Shere cottage

There is a little shop in the village of Shere that sells interesting clothes and I have visited many times, but today I wasn’t clothes shopping, I was buying fabric. This lovely shop has a good selection of fabrics, a rare find these days. I need a backing fabric for the patchwork cushion I am making, and had to travel a long way to find a fabric outlet.
But it is no hardship to visit the beautiful village of Shere. The centre of the village is full of lovely old cottages, with the church and two pubs nearby and a stream running through. However it is difficult to take a good photo because there are cars parked everywhere. It is a very popular place to visit.
