Inspired by the old barn.

The old barn was fascinating on the outside too. It’s like looking at a favourite pair of trousers that have been altered, patched and adjusted. James the farmer pointed out where the building had been lengthened by about a foot, and a large doorway added. I had already noticed this wooden plank which had once formed the lintel to a doorway. Perhaps this is the entrance the children used when the building had been a school. If only walls could talk!
