Cistus aka rock rose, which always reminds me of rocky Catalan coasts. This one was lucky, another was killed by the severe frosts we had last winter.

It's been a relaxing day so far,  mostly reading under the parasol with my legs in the sun, but I've applied a second coat of Hammerite to the several bits of rust on the sills of my car. You may be shocked, but it's good paint for rust and I'd already got half a tin of white. I'll spray with the correct Renault colour later, or tomorrow, and take the car somewhere to do it so that I'm not spraying on the drive. I love my car, but it's not precious, it's just a car and I've taken it to rough places along appalling roads, the rust isn't surprising.
