Cottage Garden poppies at Dobbies in Rothley. There was a special offer this month on Wisteria at £19.99.per plant. I wanted a wisteria to replace the clematis that had died since last year, and it had bloomed so beautifully too.

We have a wisteria in the back garden but it's in totally the wrong place, in constant shade and with no feeding but the plant itself is healthy. Our new wisteria will be in full sun in the afternoons and will be fed appropriately.

I could not pass these poppies without photographing them. The colours were stunning.

Market in the morning and met Colin who treated us to latte at Finkins.
