Ton hit a wall

I told Ton I used the new AI denoise function in Lightroom for many images that were made during the light painting workshop two days ago. He then tried this function on his own photos but Lightroom informed him that this would take around 20 minutes on his laptop. I tried one of his photos on my laptop and the denoise function rook about one minute. is that a business case for a new MacBook for Ton?
