Happy cat

H brought this waving cat back from Japan and it goes a bit crazy when you put it in the sun as it's solar powered. It's sat on a North-facing window sill as a result but today it's super-sunny and close enough to midsummer that the sun comes all the way round.

Tennis lesson followed by the joint Brownies/Scouts bakesale this morning. Then in the afternoon I did a lot of gardening, planting out most of the baby plants on the deck.

We even had a barbeque for dinner - teriyaki chicken skewers, baby potatoes with chives, asparagus and mushrooms. All finished up with Scottish blackberries (presumably from a polytunnel) macerated with lime zest, and served with yoghurt and lavender honey.
