Dunes of Meijendell

Went for a walk thro' the dunes that are North of city Den Haag/The Hague and took this blip of the dunes and lake from a view point, looking into the West.

Thank you all for your reactions and **s! And wishing you all a fine weekend!

On inernet I found this info on Meijendell: "Meijendel is a Nature Reserve located between Wassenaar and The Hague. It is the largest interconnected dune area in South Holland with a surface area of almost 2000 hectares. This area is an important habitat for a multitude of wildlife, including 250 species of birds, as well as rabbits, foxes, weasels and roe deer. Although it is a nature reserve, it is also used for water purification, and the drinking water for the city of The Hague passes through these dunes, making this a great example of an ecosystem service. Meijendel is a key area to protect sensitive dune flora and fauna. For example, it is ranked in the top 10 for the most bird-rich reserves in the Netherlands. "
