Not Hay on Wye, but rain on Hay

Another day out to Hay on Wye to see friends who live in the town, so it was only a few minutes walk into the centre to visit the How The Light Gets In Festival of philosophy and music. Less well known than the literature festival just outside the town, but an interesting and friendly event none the less. But the heavens had opened and it rained almost non stop. So we sought cover in a marquee and though we were by then very damp, we enjoyed listening to folk singer Katrin O'Neill. Then the we gave up on walking round the town, and went back to the house. Beau briefly used one of umbrellas, but it was as big as he is, so not very convenient for a 6 year old...
