A little (long) drive out

The Eden valley.
Such a pretty area.
Green grass and big hills.

I think that's basically what I'm looking for in life, a big green landscape and some rolling hills.  Just perfect.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku, Ben, Leo and I had a drive out today, we thought the traffic might be OK as it's not a 'changeover' day for holidays and we were right, it was easy.  We went up to the east of Penrith and had a mooch around Lazonby, Kirkoswald, Melmerby etc.  It's definitely our Happy Place.  We had lunch in the Melmerby bakery and walked around the beck in Kirkoswald.  Ben has been pretty good and Leo was fairly patient with us, given the change of routine!  The photo was taken through the car window when we were waiting to cross a little bridge.  I did spend all day, wistfully saying, "So pretty!"
