Waiting for the Spring.

The highlight proved to be a Caltha palustris. 
The Current Mrs Creel was playing in the Fiddlers’ Rally today.  I wasn’t.  I repaired holes in the road, planted seeds in cold frame and cut the grass.  And I’ve just put the tea in the oven.  CMC arrived 5 mins ago and has gone straight to her piano.
 
Last night there was a very surprise appearance of Desmond and Blanche at the dance in the Stenness Hall.  They disgraced themselves by continually asking for ‘The Lancers’.  Bunty appeared, unaccompanied.  There was a great crowd of youngsters.  The pace was very hot.  Well, what else would you expect fae a Shetland Band ?  There was even a blistering Eightsome, a dance which hasn’t been danced in Orkney for many years.
