The race is on

I’ve volunteered at Winchester City Mill. It’s always lovely speaking to people.

HtP met me for lunch and we went to a cafe in town and had a lovely salad.

We then visited Earthian, a shop where you can refill containers. I got some oil and some jumbo porridge oats.

We’ve then checked to see if I can fit in another water butt in tandem with another one. It’s now on order. Now we just need some rain. Five buckets of water from the bath then helped to replenish the water used to water the many little plants growing.

The photo was taken on the way home from walking the boys. HtP always loves to race with them up the drive.

I’ve then done some more weeding.

Now I’m relaxing with a glass of sherry.
