Tidal pool

Here is something for Derelict Sunday. Tidal pools used to be popular on the east coast in the 1930s. They were constructed between natural ridges of rock and filled with sea water at high tide. Recently, they have been increasing in popularity again but of course it has been a long time since any maintenance was done. Restoration of the Cellardyke one has recently started. Three days ago, some water was pumped out. Two days ago, some dredging was done. Today, the water is lower than I have ever seen it. Tomorrow a new sluice gate will be installed - the old one has not worked for a long time. If this does not look derelict enough, the extra shows the state of the ramp leading down to the water. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
