Bondy

We had lunch in our friends' M and D's beautiful garden in Bondy (just north east of Paris) this afternoon. M expertly barbecued this fish, a "capitaine", which was delicious. We had a fantastic time, sitting under the roses. 

J surprised me with a beautiful cake (see extras) in the evening. I've managed to draw out my birthday celebrations over a few weeks, which is just the way I like them! haha 

I'm very touched by all the kind wishes sent on FB, by email and over the phone today from friends and family, near and far. Thank you all! Un très grand merci!
